Commissions
Commissioning a painting is a deeply rewarding experience that results in a truly personalized and meaningful work of art, created exclusively for you. Every detail is tailored to your tastes, preferences, and vision, ensuring the final piece is uniquely yours.
Collaborating with Nicole allows you to immortalize a cherished moment, loved one, or meaningful place. Whether you have specific size requirements or prefer a certain medium, she will craft the artwork to your exact specifications. Commissioned pieces often hold profound emotional significance, becoming treasured family heirlooms that can be passed down through generations as part of your personal history.
The process begins with an initial consultation, where Nicole will discuss the story you wish to tell through the painting. This is also when size, budget, framing, shipping, and any deadlines will be addressed to ensure everything meets your needs. You can provide photographs as reference material, or, if preferred, Nicole can capture her own images. For portrait commissions, while sittings are recommended to enhance the final result, they are not required.
Nicole will provide an estimated timeline for completion based on the complexity and scale of the work, and if you have a specific deadline in mind, she will do her best to meet it. Once the artwork is complete, she will reveal the finished piece to you.
As for pricing, a standard non-refundable deposit of 50% is required to begin the commission, with the remaining balance due upon completion.
